The concept of mathematics laboratory in schools is an innovative step to make learning of mathematics effective, interesting and enjoyable. Laboratory Manual for Mathematics is an effort to make mathematics an interesting, lively and skill-based subject. The Laboratory Manual for Mathematics has been written in a very simple and lucid manner. A number of diagrams are providing to make easy understanding of the activities. Those activities have been chosen which supplement and enhance the understanding of the concepts prescribed in the syllabus. Every effort has been made to ensure that the materials suggested to perform the activities are low budget (less price), easily available and convenient for the students to handle. Formative assessment (including Oral questions, Quiz questions,Worksheets, chart paper assignment, projects, puzzles group discussion, seminar, paper-pen test, etc) in accordance with new CCE pattern issued by CBSE, has also been added at the end of each chapter for evaluation of students on regular basis. I expect that the teachers will motivate the learners through these activities and should be able to create an environment to explore the subject further under their expert guidance. I hope that this laboratory Manual for Mathematic will be useful to the students and teachers alike.
